I thought my suggestion of scalable LOA-chips and super-large arrays 
could work, especially if the measurement instruments on the chip can 
be dynamically reconfigured for various testing from small samples of 
liquids to entire cellular organisms. Oh well. Maybe we just need to 
come up with some strategies for organizing emergent properties or for 
being able to risk it and not accidentally produce something emergent 
that, i.e., kills us all.
