Some brief notes on this topic:

- need to specify a centralization system for the distribution of 
related information, such as from the public govt databases (PubChem, 
the many metabolic pathway databases like BioCyc, etc.),

- perhaps an XML standard for specifying dependencies, resultant protein 
structures, and DOI/RDF links for people already working on mods

- http://obofoundry.org/ for bio ontologies; apply to BioBricks

Any other thoughts?
