[BBF Standards] How do I get a RFC (request for comment) number for a new standard?

Hi John,
The technical standards process is detailed online here:

It sounds to me like you might want to coordinate w/ Jason. He's not
yet requested a RFC (as I understand it, he is awaiting more results
from other groups using and validating his *reference* standard). One
option would be to merge efforts. Another option would be to take the
dual luciferase system forward as its own standard (have you worked
with another group, outside of Brown, to validate your proposed
solution).
