Hi there,
Genetic switches are always made based on gene control in synthetic biology and certain protein concentrations are always used to represent status (on/off) of the switch. However, the signal proteins continue to stay in the media since they generally have longer lifetimes. The existence of these proteins will increase the background noises, which is not what we want.
Does anyone know how to remove these unnecessary protein from the media?
Thanks!
John
